Room 208/210
Writing- Work on your Visual Aid for writing and beging preparing your persuasive speech. Some of you will be presenting on Wednesday. You can make this as big and creative or as small as you want it to be. This is just a final piece of writing to engage us all in the last few days of school.

English: Regarding your All About Me Memory Brochure - We will have computer time this week in the Computer Lab with Mr. Hassett. Please make sure you bring your completed template and flash/jumpdrive on Tuesday.

Review and on algebraic expressions.
Reading Test on Friday on Al Capone Does My Shirts. You may use the novel and vocabulary worksheet for test.
English Test on Present Perfect, Past Perfect and Future Perfect verb tenses.
All About Me Brochure and flash/jump drive due date extended to Tuesday, June 1st.
3 paragraph letter to 6th grade teachers. 1st paragraph - about yourself, 2nd paragraph what you are excited to learn about in 6th grade. 3rd paragraph what was fun in 5th grade.
Social Studies Test on Chapter 9 tomorrow. May use Study Guide. Get it signed by a parent for extra points!
Open Book Religion Test on Chapter 25.

5th Grade: Please remember for tomorrow:
Jeans (no shorts, no capris, etc.) with 5th Grade Rocks T-Shirt. If you don't have that t-shirt then a regular IJP t- shirt will do.
A sack lunch! You may bring a small snack (like a piece of fruit, fruit snack) for the ride home from the nursing home to eat on the bus.
Signed Nursing Home Permission slip (this went home today - sorry, we just received it from them today).
We are looking forward to a wonderful pilgrimage and Nursing Home visit!

TEST ON CHAPTER 8 TOMORROW! You may use your Study Guide. If it is signed by a parent, that's 10 extra points! The Study Guide will be collected with the test tomorrow. The test will be multiple choice and will also cover vocabulary.

Please memorize your poem to recite for our class and for the primary classes. It does not have to be a Shel Silverstein poem! You can recite any poem by any poet. Everyone should be signed up and know when they are going to present their poem. We will present tomorrow, Friday, Monday, and Tuesday of next week.
